Terms of service

These terms apply to everyone who uses SnagNFix at app.snagnfix.com, operated by [OPERATOR NAME] (“we”, “us”), [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you are using SnagNFix for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

1. What SnagNFix does

SnagNFix lets developers, contractors, trades and homeowners report, assign, schedule, fix and sign off snags in new homes, and share handover documents. It is a tool for organising that work. It does not replace your developer's warranty, your home warranty provider, building control or professional surveys, and it does not change anyone's legal rights or obligations under a sale contract or warranty.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or over and give accurate details.
  • Keep your sign-in secure and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Home and site codes are for the people they were given to. Don't share them.

3. Developer subscriptions

  • Developers pay a subscription based on their plan. Homeowners, contractors and trades use SnagNFix free.
  • New subscriptions start with a 28-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and your card is charged automatically.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly or annually until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part periods except where the law requires.
  • Prices are shown excluding VAT. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change.
  • Plans have limits on active plots, developments and team members. If you go over, you'll be asked to upgrade before adding more.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the reports, photos, documents and other content you add. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run SnagNFix for you and the people you work with. For developers, our data processing agreement explains how we handle personal data on your behalf.

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, misleading, or that infringes anyone else's rights, and to avoid photographing people or private belongings that aren't relevant to a snag.

5. AI suggestions

SnagNFix may use AI to suggest how urgent a snag is. These suggestions are a guide only and can be wrong. The developer always sets the official priority. If you think something is dangerous, such as a gas smell, water near electrics or structural movement, contact your developer or the emergency services directly and don't rely on the app.

6. Acceptable use

Don't try to access data you aren't allowed to see, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

7. Availability

We work to keep SnagNFix available and secure but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Snags saved on your device while offline are sent when you reconnect; please check they have synced before relying on them.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and for business customers our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees paid to us in that period. If you use SnagNFix as a consumer, you also have rights under consumer law that these terms do not affect.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using SnagNFix and ask us to delete your account at any time (see delete your data). Developers can export their data before cancelling. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you about significant changes in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales / Northern Ireland], and its courts have jurisdiction, except that consumers may also bring claims where they live.
